WATER HARVESTING TECHNIQUE IN ARID AREAS

in arid areas water is the major constraints to pastrorists, people and farmers.
lets take an example for an area like kyuso district in mwingi a home of Kenyan vice president Stephen kalonzo musyoka.
in these areas we experience heavy rains and sometimes we get floods and this is the time should not let this water be swallowed by the ground.
considering most people in these areas are below poverty line and cannot afford to build concrete tanks or purchase expensive plastic tanks i see it ironical to purchase what they could have stored for future use considering the cost of purchasing and cost of storage.
what am trying to suggest is building a personal tank which is a bit cheaper and durable.
here are some tips on how it can be done:
get a free space near your house where gutters can reach your tank,
dig a two square and a depth of your desire,
after that purchase a polythene bag which is a bit cheaper than cement,
join the polythene to fit your hole up to the top,
after that raise ground surrounding the hole to prevent dirty water from entering your safe,
cover your hole to prevent unwanted materials leaving fetching point and holes connecting with gutters.
my friends i told you am a businessman and profit oriented, you have saved money, got clean water and live simple. i guess a person living below poverty line can afford this.
check out on my next post i got so much business for you.
